Mr. Budik founded Imagine Bio in 2014. He is an accomplished life science and digital health executive with experience guiding strategic product and business development in both established and emerging companies. He leads many of Imagine Bio’s projects including establishing the Israel strategy and targeted scouting for global life science companies, creation and integration of tailored technology solutions, due diligence on lead opportunities, project team organization, and venture investment. He maintains relationships among leading executives in the life science and tech industry, VC’s, and tech transfer organizations.

Prior to Imagine Bio, Mr. Budik gained executive management experience with startups in Israel and finance at Johnson & Johnson (Ethicon Endo-Surgery) in the US. As NeuroQuest CEO, a Trendlines Portfolio company, he led the turn-around and clinical validation of what emerged as a leading blood-based biomarker for Alzheimer’s Disease, recruited a global management team, secured capital, and attracted extensive in-kind funding through partnerships with key international players.

He studied finance and biochemistry at Miami University of Ohio, contributed to NSF sponsored research in organic and biochemistry at Ohio State University, and holds a certificate in Healthcare Entrepreneurship from Tel Aviv University. He is bilingual in English and Russian, conversational in Hebrew, and occasionally remembers a few words of Spanish from high school.
